My Role: Lead Designer, Volunteer
Took part in weekly stand-ups, once-a-month hands-on meetings, daily communication between team members.
Helped to support the user experience design of the conference website, social media templates, and in-venue signage/visuals. Communicated with vendors to ensure quality of printed materials.

Overview
In 2019, the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan became the host of the Midwest UX Conference, an annual event that rotates among major cities in the Midwest region. With its compelling theme of "Reframing Reality," the conference challenged speakers to explore UX from fresh perspectives.
As a member of the design team, I played a pivotal role in crafting an immersive experience for attendees. From designing captivating signage and wayfinding systems to creating striking decor and merchandise, I ensured that every visual aspect of the conference resonated with the innovative spirit and forward-thinking theme.
